"Scathe: a Civil War Incident in Middle Tennessee"

A cannon from the Civil War eraThursday, Feb. 16, 6:00 pm Bethesda Public Library will host "Scathe: a Civil War Incident in Middle Tennessee," a short dramatic presentation featuring student actors. The play chronicles actual events that took place in Spring Hill during the Civil War. Admission is free.


Kidz Kompany Presents...

Kidz KompanyThursday, Feb. 23, 6:00 pm Bethesda Public Library will host Kidz Kompany, a local kid's drama group, in a production of "Safety Box," a drama teaching children about basic safety rules. Admission is free, and everyone is invited.

Storytimes @ Bethesda

We offer Toddler Time for children ages 18 – 35 months, and their parent or caregiver, each Tuesday at 10:30 am. Preschool Storytime, for three and four year olds, is held on Wednesdays at 10:30 am.

Snuggle Bug Club, a monthly lapsit story time for parents and caregivers with newborns and infants up to 18 months of age, is held on the third Friday of each month at 10:30 am. The next meeting is Friday, Feb. 17.




Lego® Club @ Bethesda

LeogsSaturday, Feb. 25 from 10:30 am – 12:00 pm.Do you love to creae and build things? Then our Lego® Club is for you. We will have a contest to name the club, so put on your thinking caps and be creative!. Please don't bring Legos®—we will provide them. No children under 4—choking hazard.




Book Clubs @ Bethesda

The Bethesda Book Club for adults will meet on Thursday, Feb. 9 at 6:30 pm to discuss Cutting for Stone by Abraham Verghese. New members are always welcome to join this group for great discussions about great books.




Friends of the Bethesda Library

The Bethesda Library is thankful for our wonderful Friends of the Library group! This active group of library supporters has provided funds for books, DVD’s, children’s performers, and many other much-needed items. Recently, the Friends have provided the new reusable blue books bags that you were probably given the last time you checked out books. The Friends group meets on the third Wednesday of each month at 4:00 pm. See the Friends page for more information and a membership application.

Tax forms are available at all locations of the Williamson County Public Library system, and at www.irs.gov.




TWRA Boating Exam

The Bethesda Library offers proctoring of the TWRA Boating Exam. Please call for an appointment to be sure that a certified proctor will be available.
