Bethesda Library to Close for Carpet Installation

The Bethesda Library will close on Thursday, July 17 for the installation of new carpet. Target date for completion of the project is Friday, August 1. Books checked out by July 16 will be due August 1. DVDs and videos checked out by July 8 will be due August 1.


Wireless Internet connectivity is available at the Bethesda Public Library.


The Bethesda Public Library will be closed on Friday, July 4 to observe Independence Day.

Children's Activities in July

All Aboard Starship Adventure!
Astronaut in space suit

Starship Adventure returns to earth on Thursday, July 9 at 10:30 am. Join us for games, food, and fun to end our Summer Reading Program. Summer Readers may bring their reading logs to the library throughout the summer to claim prizes. All who read at least 100 books will have their names placed on our Star Readers Galaxy.

Special Events

Book Clubs at Bethesda

The Bethesda Book Club for adults will not meet in July. The next meeting will be on Thursday, August 7 at 6:30 pm to discussThe Other Boleyn Girl by Philippa Gregory. The Homeschool Book Group will not meet during the summer, but will resume meeting in September. The day and time have not yet been decided. New members are always welcome to both groups. Call 790-1887 or email the Library for more information.


TWRA Boating Exam

The Bethesda Library now offers proctoring of the TWRA Boating Exam.
Please call for an appointment to be sure that a certified proctor will be available.


Voter Registration

Mail-in Voter Registration forms are now available at all branches of the
Williamson County Public Library System.


Friends of Bethesda Library

The Friends of Bethesda Library group meets on the third Thursday of every month at 6:00 p.m. The next meeting will be on Thursday, July 17. New friends are always welcome!
