Friends of the Bethesda Library

The Friends of Bethesda Library was organized in 2004 to promote and support the Bethesda branch. This group meets on the third Thursday of each month at 6:00p.m. In the past, the Friends have sponsored Craft and Flea Markets, a poinsettia sale, and book sales to raise funds for children's performers, special programs, and library materials. New members are always welcome!

The Friends' next fundraiser will be Breakfast with the Easter Bunny on Saturday, March 31, 2007. This event will be held in the cafeteria of the Bethesda Recreation Center.

Officers of the Friends of Bethesda Library for 2007 are: Leah Karo, President; Russell Smith, Vice-President; Linda McPherson, Treasurer; and Donna Nichols, Secretary.
