Shady Rest Garden

The gardens, nestled into the side of the woods, welcome you and help you forget the hustle and bustle of the day. As you enter down the driveway to the one place where the sun shines brightly for most of the day, you will see the perennial garden that blooms throughout the simmer. As you walk across the "Woodruff Celebration Bridge", you catch a glimpse of Sonny's wildflowers planted along the golf course. Returning to the yard you are welcomed by a variety of ferns and hosta that separate the garden from the woods. A quiet waterfall and fish pond offer a relaxing grotto as you stroll through flowers and view a statues of remembrance.
