INCOME TAX ASSISTANCE
Assistance at the Library

Picture of income tax forms
January 9, 2016

The commencement of a new year also brings the start of tax season. The Williamson County Public Library will again provide IRS tax forms to patrons, but with fewer tax form offerings this year. According to the IRS, 95 percent of taxpayers filed their tax returns electronically last tax season. As a result, the agency is significantly decreasing the variety of paper forms it offers to agencies like the Library. This year, the Library expects to receive a limited number of the following federal tax forms from the IRS:

The forms can be found at the Reference Desk on the 2nd floor and will be accessible to the public on a first-come, first-served basis. For a list of forms currently available, click here.

Most schedules and forms that will not be available in paper form at the Library can be downloaded and printed from the IRS website (www.irs.gov). Reference staff will help you download and print forms at the Library for 10 cents a page.
