Vance Little will present the Fourth Annual Williamson County Public Library History Lecture on Saturday, November 2, at 10:00 A.M. in the Main Library’s Meeting Room.
His topic will be "Historic Brentwood," and will feature a video based on his book of this same title. Little will share more history of Brentwood and will be available to answer questions.
Little, well-known attorney and local historian, is the author of such books as Early Families of Northeastern Williamson County, Granny White and the Pumpkins And Other Tales of Brentwood, and When Cotton was King on Concord Road. He currently hosts a local history show on Channel 9.
Copies of When Cotton Was King on Concord Road will be available for sale.
The lecture is free and open to the public.
Speakers in previous History Lectures in the series have included Richard Fulcher, James Crutchfield, Bob Holladay, Sue Oden, Ennis Wallace, and Rick Warwick.
