Libraries Rock! Summer Reading 2018

NEW!! Introduction to Dungeons & Dragons: 2-5 p.m. Wednesday, May 23 & 30.  Join the quest this summer, as the Teen Library presents "An Introduction to Dungeons & Dragons," the classic game of fantasy storytelling. Led by our own "Mr. Howard," all you need is your imagination! *LIMITED REGISTRATION* * MEETING EVERY WEDNESDAY BEGINNING May 23- August 1*

Teen Game Afternoon: 2-4 p.m. Tuesday, May 29.  Join us for an afternoon of games including Uno, Yahtzee, Stratego and more.  


Teen Art Club:  2-3 p.m.  Friday, June 1.  Stop by and make some art and some new friends! Bring your materials or use our sketchbooks and colored pencils.

*NEW* Lego Mindstorms Workshop: 9-3 p.m. Tuesday, June 19. Join us for an ALL DAY Lego Mindstorm event, led by Columbia State Community College Robotics Professor, Alan Fisher. Participants will learn about the parts of the Leg Mindstorms, and will build, and program the robots by the end of the workshop. Pizza lunch will be provided. Spots are limited and PRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED

*NEW* Saxophone Workshop with Presley: 2-3 p.m. Thursday, June 21. Looking for a musical instrument that’s cool, fun, and different? Come blow some tunes on the saxophone! Local musician Presley Parker will do some demos and offer insight and advice about the music world. If you’re already a saxophone player, bring it! Little to no experience is required.
